Moor Cultured Travel, established in 2024, is a Moorish American female owned travel agency, dedicated to making travel more accessible for black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) individuals. We achieve this core mission by breaking financial barriers, empowering BIPOC travelers to explore more of the world while spending less, all guided by our philosophy: "With Moor travel, the more you will experience.".
Aja Kinsey | Founder & CEO
Born and raised in Tri-Cities, WA, Aja is a proud Moorish American woman whose lifelong passion for travel began early. A transformative "granddaughter" her first airplane ride and trip to Hawaii in middle school with her late Grandmother opened her eyes to a world beyond her home state. This initial spark fueled extensive domestic adventures across the United States, ultimately empowering her to take her first solo international trip to Jamaica for her 26th birthday. This experience, a stark contrast to her family's limited international travel growing up, ignited a deeper appreciation for new languages, lifestyles, and cultures. Since then Aja has explored Jamaica twice, The Dominican Republic, and Colombia, with dreams of reaching the Bahamas one day. These journeys inspired the creation of Moor Cultured Travel, an endeavor driven by her belief that travel fosters invaluable learning and experiences.
Understanding that travel can often become very expensive, her mission is to empower and enable her BIPOC community to turn their own travel aspirations into reality without breaking the bank. Aja continues to travel the world and aspires to help you do the same.
